Ok... here's a question I'm afraid allmost nobody knows. The music in the starting scene with Fitz (talking in the Mirror) and ending of the serie (sitting in the garden with Judith, Mark and Kathy)... It's an instrumental Jazzy one without singing... Does anyone know which song it is.. I allready scoped all Coltrane, and most of Ellington.. But I'm still unable to find it

I really like this episode. In my opinion, it is better than all three Paul Abbott episodes, but still not quite up to McGovern standards. I loved the dark and brooding tone. It was possibly the most psychologically disturbing of all episodes, exploring the theme of exploitation, indoctrination and murder within a twisted religious sect, and I thought all the actors were marvellous in creating this tension as was Ted Whitehead for giving us Cracker fans a brilliant story in Jimmy's temporary absence.

Hi Jan747 - welcome to the board A fantastic actress called Samantha Morton played Joanne Barnes. Hope that helps When I first saw her, I thought it was Samantha but I couldn't quite place her. Then when I saw her name on the credits I was pleasantly surprised. She was amazing in "The Big Crunch."

Found the Big Crunch novel on ebay and I got it today!
The LP Fitz turns on in this episode (were he studies the photo's and Mark solves...)
The novel states it's a nice 33 rpm Ray Charles record. I'm not sure about that yet. In *to say I love you* the novel stated Fitz heart Belinda Carlisle in a pub... I'll check Ray Charles and report back in a month or three (awfully busy at work right now)
